Workshop: Research Methods in Oral History from a Gender-Sensitive Perspective

In cooperation with the American University in Cairo, Women and Memory Forum is pleased to announce an upcoming workshop on the topic of research methods in oral history from a gender perspective.

The workshop will take place from April 19 – 21, 2018.

The workshop aims to train researchers interested in women’s and gender issues on: the use of feminist research methods; styles of oral history research; how to read and interpret oral texts; and practical applications in the practice of oral history.

The workshop will include lectures and discussion sections to facilitate the exchange of ideas and expertise between attendants.
