Announcement of a 3 week course in Gender Studies
The Women and Memory Forum in collaboration with the Centre for Research and Social Studies Faculty of Arts - Cairo University is pleased to announce a 3 week course in Gender Studies.
The aim of the course is to identify research methodologies and theories in gender studies through a number of academic disciplines.
The course will be held in Cairo from the 3rd to the 23rd of July , 2011.
This course will be offered in Arabic.
At the end of the course the students will receive:
-A certificate from the Women and Memory Forum as well as the Centre for Research and Social Studies
-A collection of books in gender and women studies
For participants from the Arab countries:
WMF will provide the travel expenses and accommodation during the stay in Cairo.
The deadline for applying is the May 25th 2011. The places for the course are limited.
