The Nature of Women: Various Approaches

Subject

The Nature of Women: Various Approaches

Summary

Do women really have a different nature than men? Are men and women intrinsically different? The Nature of Women: Various Approaches is based on discussions at a roundtable held by the Women and Memory Forum in 2001. This roundtable discussion aimed to battle the stereotypical views on the prescribed nature of women which result in their marginalization from society, rob them of their civil rights and, when necessary, are used politically against them. In order to reach objective answers on the nature of women psychological, sociological, anthropological, religious, historical and intellectual evidence is provided by several researchers.
