News Across- Phases of the Moon
Phases of the Moon is the title of Somaya Ramadan’s new short-story collection, published under the “Literary Voices Series” (Al-Hay’ah al-Ammah Li-Qusur al-Thaqafah). It came out in Cairo, November 1999, authored by Somaya Ramadan, whose last collection, Wood and Copper was published by Sharqiyat Publishing House in 1995. Among the most memorable stories in Phases of the Moon are: “Green Almonds”, “Prayer for a Red Rose”, “Solidarity”, “The Second Floor”, and “Never Ending Story.”
